The KNIPEX diagonal cutters offer a much better ratio between the force required and cutting capacity. These high leverage diagonal cutters are extremely stable due to their robust design with forged-on joint axle, this means the rivet is part of the forging and not a 3rd piece that is compressed into the tool. In addition, the combination of the cutting edges, joint and the handles has been designed for efficiency. Unlike a front or center cutters, the cutting edge of a diagonal cutter is arranged sideways for precise cutting of medium-hard and hard wire as well as piano wire with a clean cut. Despite their compact size, they still cut hard materials effortlessly.
