Here’s
How
Braces
• Rip 10” pine into 3” widths, sand, and then round corners
with 3/8” router bit.
• Using a 1 1/2” Forstner bit on a drill press, drill holes 90% of the way through
at 5 1/2”, 19 1/2” and 33 1/2” from the top of each
brace.
• Drill 1/8” holes for mounting screws at 3”, 18” and 32”.
• Finish with paint, stain, or urethane as desired.
