All of Ideal Security's garage door springs are designed for garage doors that are 7 ft. and 8 ft.-wide. They are 25" long when relaxed and 67" long when fully stretched, and are rated for 12,000 cycles. To select the correct springs for your garage door, weigh your door using a scale; do not use the outside diameter measurement of your old springs to select new replacement springs. Ideal Security offers garage door springs in five different strengths: light blue for 85 lbs to 95 lbs, green for 115lbs to 125 lbs, dark blue for 135lbs to 145 lbs, brown for 155lbs to 165 lbs, and gold for 175lbs to 185 lbs. The package includes two garage door springs as well as two safety cables for added safety during installation.
