The green sword-shaped leaves of Traderhorn set off spikes of florious scarlet red flowers with a white throat. The flower stems will need to be supported to prevent them from bowing over. Plant in Spring after the last frost in rich, well-drained soil and enjoy their blooms throughout summer. In cooler climates the bulbs will need to be removed and stored in a cool dry place over winter.
