Shell Thermashield Extended Life Coolant+Antifreeze contains a proprietary formulation of premium corrosion inhibitors that provide extended protection against rust, corrosion, and pitting caused by cavitation on all coolant system metals. Shell Thermashield provides excellent protection against temperature extremes, preventing freeze-up down to -37°C and boil-over up to 129°C (using a 100 kilopascal {15 psi} radiator cap in good condition) when used in accordance with engine manufacturer and product manufacturer’s recommendations.
