Coil on the supply side of your furnace system to help reduce mold generation - Swordfish UV is supplementary to the furnace filter, any smaller particles that are not effectively captured by the filter will then be exposed to the Swordfish UVC lamp for further air purification - Can be used in conjunction with any existing air filter or purifier such as electronic filters and HEPA filters; however, to obtain optimal performance, a high-quality dust and pollen/allergen filter is required - The UVC lamps do not produce ozone (exposure to ozone can worsen chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma, and compromise the ability to the body to fight respiratory infections) - Integrated safety switch shuts off the UVC lamp every time the power head is released to prevent accidental exposure to UVC light - Installation is quick and easy; 2” hole saw is included in the package
